New Starry Night Open Mic Page Added

Hi everybody.  Just updated the site and added a new page dedicated to the Open Mic at the Starry Night Bakery which is hosted by my good friend Chris Hurley.  It is the BEST Open Mic around.  The Starry Night has great coffee and really yummy goodies.  BTW:  they were even on Cupcake Wars!!!  Click on the link at the top of the page to check out some photos, live tunesand a video.  Open Mic is scheduled for the first Saturday of each month from 5:30 to 8:30 pm, with sign up at 5:00 pm.  Check Openmikes.org for possible changes.  Very friendly atmosphere.  We only throw soft fruit - nothing hard LOL.  Thanks to Shannon, Amber and all the wonderful folks at the Starry Night, and Thanks to Chris for all his work setting up and beaking down the PA and taking such great care of all the performers.  Hope to see you there.  Enjoy Every Sandwich.  Purple Jim

Happy New Year

Happy New Year!  Just posted some tunes that Chris Marks, Cari and I recorded on my new Tascam recorder.  (Love new toys).  Hope you enjoy:  1.  Sailors Hornpipe (Popeye theme)- I asked Chris to play this for me and even though he hadn't played it in a while, and he agreed.  And I'm glad he did!!!  2.
